Seán Bradley runs Thirsty Books, an independent small press originating in Edinburgh’s Old Town and is the editor of The Evergreen: A New Season in the North (2014 – 2019), a journal in four volumes reviving the spirit of the 19th century Evergreens of the polymath and urban planner Patrick Geddes.
As chair of the Edinburgh Old Town Development Trust, he was instrumental in setting up The Crannie, a beautiful and fully accessible community hub in the Old Town.
For many years a Grassmarket resident in the heart of Edinburgh’s historic Little Ireland, Seán never considered himself very far from his Irish roots.
